Edmund Joachim
Country Manager – RBC Antigua and Barbuda.
Edmund Joachim is a Director of Joachim and Associates, as well as the Business Development & Marketing Practitioner of the company. He holds a Master of Science in International Managementand Marketing (graduating with Merit), obtaining -Best Advertisement - 1st prize – Marketing Communications;and a Bachelor of Science degree with a double major in Computing and Management.
Currently, he is the Country Manager –RBC Antigua and Barbuda. He also held the role of Branch Manager in RBC Trinidad and Tobago which included the Maraval, St. James & Chaguaramas locations. In this role, he has had the responsibility for the general management, operations and administration of these branches – providing dynamic leadership to the team of bank officers in order to provide superior service and profits.
In addition to this, Mr. Joachim was responsible for founding the “RBC NextGen ERG”, an initiative offering a platform for the next generation of RBC. This evolved into to the Young leader mentorship program, referred to as WE leaders. To date, he still is a part of the diversity council within RBC Caribbean and mentors a number of the younger generations within the bank.
Over the years Mr Joachim has worked in Accounting, Information Technology, as a Marketing Executive for Digicel and Advisor to several private sector firms. Numerous roles focused on strategic planning, budget allocation and management, development of marketing plans and promotions and constructing competitor analyses.
Other significantaccomplishments included entrepreneurial ventures - organizing and launching a number of market leading promotions and events.
Mr. Joachim is also an avid sportsman, and has been Nominated and received Sports awards at the Saint Vincent and the Grenadines National Sports awards – including the prestigious – Tennis Challenge Trophy, Bedford Modern - MVP, LoughboroughUniversity and Surrey University in England
